It is very cost effective and needs NO human intervention, except to verify sometimes. This way is usually cheaper than buying tapes for a tape drive each year. We have a nominal setup fee and then it's billed quarterly or yearly.
One thing we always tell our customers is, how long and how much money is it going to cost you to get back up and running for the last year of data lost. Usually, ALOT.. is common response.
Or if you prefer to backup data to tape, we also provide the equipment and tapes to do so. We can also do maintenance on your system regularly to verify your data is backed up.
